Sonny Curtis
Sonny Curtis (born May 9, 1937, Meadow (Texas)) - American pop and country singer. He was a friend and the author of several songs performed by Buddy Holly, including Rock Around With Ollie Vee (1956), Oh, Boy! (1957) and Rave On (1958). Currently, these pieces belong to the rock and roll classics. From 1959 Sonny Curtis was the leader, the lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter of The Crickets, replacing Holly here. His most famous songs from this period are often covered with I Fought the Law and More Than I Can Say from 1960. To this day, Sonny Curtis appears at concerts commemorating Buddy Holly.
