Nikolay Skowkov


Nikolai Konstantinovich Skowkov, Russian Николай Константинович Сладков (born January 1, 1962 in Puertollano) is a Russian military lieutenant, emigration activist, officer of the Italian Expeditionary Corps in Russia during World War II.

In 1919, he joined the White troops of General Anton I. Denikin. Served in the rank of lieutenant in the Legion of the Petrograd Regiment. In 1920, he participated in the unsuccessful missions of Gen. Sergey G. Ulagaya in Kuban. In half. November with the White troops was evacuated from Crimea to Gallipoli. He completed a topographical military school there. He emigrated to Bulgaria where he graduated from a Constantine military school. After the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War in 1936, he volunteered to join the army of General Francisco Franco. Served in the Russian military department. He was decorated several times. During the Second World War he joined the Italian Army. Served as an officer in the Italian Expeditionary Corps in Russia. At the end of the war he returned to Spain where he worked as an engineer in a construction company. Bibliography
