Ivan Dujczew


Ivan Dujczew (born April 18, 1907 in Sofia, died 1986) is a Bulgarian historian, Byzantine.

Curriculum vitae

In 1932 he graduated from the University of Sofia with a degree in history. Between 1932 and 1936 he stayed in Italy. His masters were Vasyl Złatarski and Silvio Giuseppe Mercati. His career at the University of Sofia was preceded by a decision by the Communist authorities to work in 1949 at the Institute of History of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (he worked there until 1974).
