Felix Szreder
Feliks Szreder CR (born December 16, 1914 in Prokowskie Chróstach, died May 9, 1989 in Cracow) - Polish monk, theologian, dogmatist and Bible writer, translator of the Holy Scripture. Curriculum vitae
In 1932, he joined the Congregation of the Resurrectionists, ordained priests on December 21, 1939. Since 1942 he was the vice-monk of the religious seminary in Cracow, in 1945 he defended his master's thesis at the Jagiellonian University, then worked at the congregation in Wola Duchacka (Cracow), Złocieniec , Poznań and again in Cracow. In 1952 he defended the Jagiellonian University's dissertation on theology of the Holy Trinity, written by Wilhelm Ockham, under the direction of Fr. Ignacy Różycki. In 1966 he defended his bachelor's degree in biblical science.
For the Millennium Bible he translated the 2nd Book of Kings. He was one of the authors of Homilies and Biblical Hours (issue 1972), for which he prepared homilies for year A, from 11 to 34 Sundays. Bibliography
