Alf Farman


Alfred H. Farman (born January 4, 1869) is an English footballer who played for the striker.

He started his football career at Aston Villa, where he moved to Bolton Wanderers. In September 1889 he became a Newton Heath player. In the years 1889-1892, when the team was in the Football Alliance, Farman played in 60 matches and scored 25 goals.

The 1892/1893 season was the first for the Football League. In the first league match, a 3-1 loss to Blackburn Rovers, he scored on the roster. He was in Newton Heath until June 1895.
