Chebska intarsja reliefowa

Przykład chebskiej intarsji

Chebska inlaid relief (Czech Chebská reliéfní intarzie) - a variation of Baroque intarsia, characteristic of craftsmen from the Czech city of Cheb.

The specifics of the chevars in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries were the technique of the third dimension. The chevars were not so flat, but they were bas-relief. The multi-purpose products manufactured in this way were sold to affluent consumers throughout Europe. The tradition of making inroads has survived in Cheba today.
