MQTT

MQ Telemetry Transport (MQTT) - A subscription-based, extremely simple, lightweight data transmission protocol. It is designed for low bandwidth devices. By reducing the transmission speed, the protocol provides greater reliability. This protocol is ideal for machine-to-machine connections, on the Internet of Things (IoT), on mobile devices, and where bandwidth and energy savings are required.

The MQTT was created by Andy Stanford-Clark of IBM and Arlene Nipper of Arcom (now Eurotech) in 1999. MQ in the name MQTT comes from the name of the IBM product line (message queuing). The latest version of the protocol is MQTTv3.1.1.

Broker MQTT

The broker acts as a server to which clients connect to share information. Most popular brokers are Mosquitto, RabbitMQ, HiveMQ, IBM MessageSight, VerneMQ. Operation MQTT

Each client connects to the broker and then subscribes to the topic / topic, and can publish information on the topic. Whenever a customer publishes any information, each customer who subscribes to the same topic will receive this information. Themes do not have to be created before, and they can have any name.

Customers connecting to an MQTT broker use several features to manage the transmission: MQTT in practice

The MQTT protocol uses min. Facebook Messenger. With this protocol, we can easily move from one device to another and continue the conversation.
