Jacek Maciejewski
Jacek Adam Maciejewski (born 1962) is a Polish historian, medialist, professor of humanities and professor at the University of Kazimierz Wielki.
Historical studies at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń graduated in 1986. He completed his doctorate in 1995, and habilitated in 2004. The professor's title was awarded in 2015.
He specializes in prozopography, the history of the Catholic Church in medieval Poland, the issue of violence as a means of social communication in medieval society, and the figure of Kazimierz the Great and his country. He was the director of the Institute of History and International Relations at the University of Kazimierz Wielki and the head of the Department of Medieval History at this institute.
