One Day I Will Write About This Place - an autobiographical novel by the Kenyan writer and journalist Binyavangi Wainaina. The world premiere of the book took place in 2011 in the United States, and in Poland it was published in 2014 by Karakter.
  • The book is about the childhood, adolescence and youth of a Kenyan boy from Nakuru, who becomes a journalist and writer. The history of the Wainain family is presented in the context of the post-colonial history of Kenya. The action of the song is not only in the author's homeland, but also in Uganda, South Africa, Ghana, Togo and in the United States. The novel begins in 1978 and ends in 2010.
