Frode Kristoffersen

Frode Jelling Kristoffersen (born August 9, 1931 in Sønderborg, March 22, 2016) is a Danish journalist, Member of the European Parliament, 2nd and 4th term. Curriculum vitae

Since 1948 he has been professionally associated with journalism. He worked, among other things. for "Jyllands-Posten" and "Dagens Nyheder". From 1961 to 1979 he was a correspondent of foreign Danmarks Radio including Berlin, London, Bonn and Brussels. In the years 1979-1988 he was the program director of radio station Radio Syd. From 1989 to 1994 he again worked for DR as a European correspondent. From 1993 to 1994 he worked on the television series Frodes forunderlige rejse, devoted to his trips to European countries.

From 1988 to 1989 he was a Member of Parliament for the second term of office, again in the EP during 1994-1999 as a deputy of the fourth term. He obtained the mandate from the Conservative People's Party.
