Wasilij Łukszyn


Vasily Andreyevich Lukashin (Russian: Василий Андрееич Лукшин, born March 14, 1912, died May 16, 1967 in Poland) - general major KGB. Curriculum vitae

He graduated from the University of Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod), from 1932 he belonged to the WKP (b), from 1941 he served in the Red Army, on August 9, 1947 he was inspector of one of the faculties of the Human Resources Board of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (b). From June 16, 1949, he was the deputy head, and from January 24, 1952, head of the human resources sector GUSS Administrative Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine (b), from May 13 to June 11, 1953 head of the army sector of the Department of Administrative and Trade-Financial Securities, Central Committee of the CPSU, then the deputy head of the Department Administrative and Commercial-Financial Bodies of the Central Committee of the CPSU. From 1954 he worked in the KGB, from March 25, 1954 to August 1, 1958 as deputy chairman of the KGB of the USSR, at the same time from March 27, 1954 to March 16, 1961 the head of the 8th Main Board of the KGB of the USSR, and from March 16, 1961 to April 18, 1967 the head of the Northern KGB Special Department Military Group stationed in Poland. On May 31, 1954, he received the rank of major general. He died while performing his official duties. He was buried in the Novodevichy Cemetery. Bibliography
