Philippe Van Volckxsom
Philippe Van Volckxsom (born May 1898 in Brussels, December 24, 1938) is a Belgian ice hockey player, speed skater, and rower. He played in three Olympic Games.
Phileppe Van Volckxsom's first Olympic Games were the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp, where he started on ice hockey. He finished fifth with the team. Four years later he took part in the first winter Olympic Games in Chamonix in ice hockey, where he finished with a 7th place and quick skating. In the rally of the Panchenets, he finished his run for 500 m (23rd place) and 1500 m (20th place). He also started at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam in a rowing with two helmets.
