Karol Grudziński


Karol Grudziński of Grzymala coat of arms (born 1699, died August 31, 1758 in Chodzież) - castellan of Gniezno, Nakielski and Poznan. Zygmunt's son (died 1706), starost of Bolemowski and Teresa Rydzyńska (died 1744). He had two sisters: Zofia was married to Maciej Rydzyński, Marianna married Tomasz Olewiński, then Rocha Zbijewski, the governor of Gniezno. Around 1728 he married Krystyna Swiniarska. Two sons were born to the couple: Adam (1732-1779) and Zygmunt (1735-1804).

From 1744 to 1754, he served as a castellan. Then he was nominated for castellan of Gniezno (1754) and of Poznań (1757). He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle on August 3, 1758 in Warsaw. Bibliography Bibliography
