Ivan Nikolaevich Musichchenko (Russian: Иван Николаевич Музыченко, born November 10, 1901 in Rostov-on-Don, died December 8, 1970 in Moscow) - Soviet military commander, general lieutenant. Curriculum vitae
During World War I, he was a private soldier of the Russian army from 1917, he joined the Red Army in 1918, participated in the civil war, and in 1919-1926 he was a Red Army soldier and military commissar of the regiment. In 1927 he completed the cavalry training courses for the commanding staff of the Red Army and became commander of the squadron, on February 17, 1938, he received the rank of a combo. During the war with Finland in 1939-1940 he commanded the infantry division, later became the commander of the infantry corps, on 4 June 1940 he received the rank of lieutenant general, after the German attack on the USSR, he became commander of the 6th Army of the Southwest Front. In June 1941, he fought in the Battle of Dubno-Lutsk-Brody, in August 1941 he was wounded in combat in the area of Humania and was taken prisoner, from which on April 29, 1945 he was freed by American troops. From May to December 1945 he was subjected to verification by the NKVD, after which he was reinstated in military service, in 1947 he completed Higher Academic Courses at the Military Academy of General Staff, and in October 1947 he ended his military service.
