Pallas (daughter of Triton)

Pallas (Παλλάς) was a daughter of Triton in Greek mythology.

Triton, as a surrogate parent for Athena, daughter of Zeus, raised her with her daughter, Pallas. In the friendly battle between the goddesses, Athena was protected by Zeus, and Pallas was mortally wounded. Out of grief and despair, the goddess of wisdom created the Palladion, a statue expressing her sympathy for Pallas. Bibliography
