Władysław Markiewicz (judge)
Władysław Markiewicz (born 1877, died November 21, 1934 in Lvov) is a Polish lawyer, judge, and victim of the Katyn massacre. Curriculum vitae
He completed his law studies with a PhD. During the Second Republic he undertook work in the service of justice.
He worked as a judge in Rohatyne, head of the court in Nizinkowice, judge of the District Court in Przemysl, and in the second half of 1927 he was appointed judge of the District Court in Lvov. In 1930 he became the judge of the Court of Appeal in Lviv, and in 1934 the vice-president of SO in Lviv. In the Lviv Appeal Court he was the chairman of the Civil Division.
He died of heart attack on November 21, 1936 in Lviv at the age of 57. Bibliography
