Jonathan Scott "Jon" Smith (born May 9, 1961) is an American boatman. Two-time Olympic medalist.

He took part in three Olympic Games (IO 84, IO 88, IO 92), two medals. In 1984, in the absence of athletes from parts of the Eastern Bloc, he won silver in four with a steersman. The settlement was also created by David Clark, Phillip Stekl and Alan Forney. In 1988 he finished third in the prestigious eight. In 1992, he finished ninth in a double double, in line with Gregory Springer. He won two medals in the eighth World Cup: in 1987 gold and bronze in 1985.
