Muhammad ibn Talal


Muhammad ibn Talal (born October 2, 1940 in Amman) is a Jordanian dynasty prince of the Hajj, the General of the Jordanian Armed Forces. In 1952-1962, he was succeeded by the throne of Jordan.

He is the second son (the third of six children) of King Jordan Talal and his wife Queen Queen. He is ninth in succession to the Jordanian throne. November 28, 1963 in Amman he married Firjal al-Irszid. In 1978 he divorced his wife. Pair has two sons:

On 22 April 1981, he married for the second time with Taghrid al-Majjali. There are no children in this relationship. Both wives of Prince Muhammad are daughters of Jordanian politicians (Farid al-Irisha and Hazza al-Majlis respectively). Bibliography
