Medical and Veterinary Entomology - An international, peer-reviewed scientific journal published in the field of medical and veterinary entomology.
The letter is issued by the Royal Entomological Society of London and appears once every three months. Topics include biology and control of arthropod populations of importance for human and veterinary medicine, in particular mite and hematophagous insects, including epidemiology and transmission of pathogens between the parasite and the host, changes in the distribution of parasites, their behavior and ecology, interspecific interactions of the parasite - the owner and new methods of chemical and biological control of these arthropods.
The 2015 impact factor was 2.86. In 2014 it was ranked 2nd in ISI Journal Citation Reports in veterinary science and 4 in entomology.
