Lozhanian lyric

Lyons Lyric - a group of poems by Adam Mickiewicz, written in the years 1839-1840 during the poet's stay in Lausanne. The lyric poems include: Love, Over water, great and pure, When my corpse is here, There are tears. Some publishers also include the songs: Ah, already in the parent house and Escape with the soul on the leaf. Lozaki's lyrics were published only after the author's death.

These pieces differ from the earlier works of Mickiewicz and from the romantic lyric of that time. They are characterized by greater conciseness and departure from descriptive and rhetoric. The poems are also melodious, based on parallelism and repetition. They are considered to be a foretaste of the new stage in Mickiewicz's creative biography and in the development of romantic poetry.
