Jurij Cziczkow

Yuriy Mikhailovich Chichkov (born on July 26, 1929 in Moscow, died on August 6, 1990, ibid) - Soviet composer, People's Artist of the RSFSR (1989), Meritorious Art Activist of the RSFSR (1978), laureate State Award of the USSR (1983) and the Lenin Award of the Komsomol (1972).

He graduated from the Institute of Military Conductors (1953) and the Moscow Conservatory in the composition class of W. Szebalin (1959).
