Dżahanszah


Jahanshah (born 1397, died in 1467 in Tebrya) - Turkmen ruler of Kara Kojunl in the years 1438-1467 in Western Anatolia, Iraq and Iran. Curriculum vitae His father was Kara Jusuf (1389-1420). Around 1420, Jahanshah married the unknown daughter of Alexei IV Komnen, Emperor Trapezuntu and Teodor Kantakuzen. In 1434, Jahanshah was recognized as the ruler of Kjö Kojunlu by Timur Shahrukh. In order to gain real power, Jahanshah defeated his brother Iskandar (1421-1438) in 1438 at the battle of Tebrizu. In the years 1440 and 1444, Jahanshah took the invasion of Georgia. In turn, after the death of his superior, Szahruch (1405-1447), he made use of the disputes between Timurd and Soltanije and Kazwin, in 1452 Isfahan, and in 1453 Fars and Kerman. In 1450 he became involved in a long-running conflict with Ak Kojunl Jahangir (1444-1452) and his brother Uzun Hasan (1452-1478). November 11, 1467 there was a fight between the forces of the latter and Jahanshah near Sandzar in the region of Czapakczur. Jahanshah died with his son while escaping from the battlefield.
