Cloth Eisma
Doeke Eisma (born December 30, 1939 in The Hague) is a Dutch politician and sociologist, Member of the European Parliament, national parliamentarian. Curriculum vitae
He studied sociology at the University of Utrecht. In 1968 he joined the Democrats 66. From 1970 to 1971 he was a councilor of the province of Gelderland. He then sat in 1977 at Eerste Kamer, the upper chamber of the United States, since 1974 as president of the faction of his party. In the meantime, from 1973 to 1974, he was a Member of the European Parliament. Later employed in public administration.
In 1981-1984 he was again a member of the European Parliament, then a senior official in the Ministry of Social Welfare, Health and Culture. From 1986 to 1994, he served as deputy to the Tweede Kamer, and then held the mandate of a Member of the European Parliament in 1999. In the years 1999-2005 he was involved in lobbying activities in Brussels. and in 2006 the CEO of GLOBE Europe.
