Akim Szylman


Akim Lwowicz Szylman (Russian: Аким Львович Шильман, born July 1897 in Chernihiv, died September 26, 1937) is a Soviet politician, party activist.

He had a university degree, from 1915 a member of the SDPRR (b), from April 7, 1931 was a secretary, and from February 15, 1934 to May 1937, the secretary of the Western Regional Committee of the WKP (b) (Smolensk). From May 24 to June 23, 1937, he served as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Western Regional Council. June 14, 1937 arrested, September 26, 1937 sentenced to death by the Military College of the USSR Supreme Court "for belonging to the anti-Soviet right-trotskyist diversionary terrorist organization" and shot.
