Olympia (album)
Olympia - 13. Bryan Ferry's solo album released on October 25, 2010. It was produced by David Gilmour from Pink Floyd, guitarist nonexistent Chic, Nile Rogers, Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead, Marcus Miller (bassist Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock) and also: Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and ex-bassist The Stone Roses Mani. Brian Eno, who co-founded Roxy Music with Bryan Ferry. Most of the material was written by David A. Stewart of the Eurythmics duo. In addition to his recordings took part. Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzaner, Steve Winwood ("No Face, No Name, No Number"), and younger generation Scissor Sisters and Andy Cato from the Groove Armada electronic project.
The album was made in four editions: the first - the basic one with the disc, the second - the expanded DVD with the movie The Making Of Olympia and the video for "You Can Dance", the third - the set with the number two (CD + CVD ) plus another bonus CD with remixes and instrumental versions, fourth - vinyl version.
The cover of the album included Kate Moss.
The album is dedicated to two of Bryan Ferry's friends: the celebrity and fashion icon Isabella Blow, who committed suicide in 2007, and David Williams, who died in 2009. Track list
