Georgi Pavlov


Georgiev Sergeyevich Pavlov (Russian: Георгий Сергеевич Павлов, born December 5, 1910 in Mariupol, October 6, 1991 in Moscow) is a Soviet party activist, member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (1971-1986), Hero of the Socialist Work (1980).

In 1936 he graduated from the Institute of Metallurgy in Dneprodzerzhinsk, from 1939 in the WKP (b), from 1940 the party officer, 1943-1947 II secretary and first secretary of the Municipal Committee of KP (b) U in Dnipropetrovsk, 1947-1949 in KC WKP ), 1949-1950 First Secretary of the Municipal Committee of the WKP (b) in Magnitogorsk. From 1950 to March 1951 Second Secretary of the Regional Committee of the WKP (b) in Chelyabinsk, 1951-1954 Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee of Kostroma, 1954-1955 Secretary of the Kostromsk Oblast Committee of the CPSU, 1955-1956 First Secretary of the Municipal Committee of the CPSU in Kostrom, 1957 Second Secretary of the Kostromski Regional Committee of the CPSU, 1957 in the Central Committee of the CPSU. From December 29, 1957 to November 28, 1963 First secretary of the Maritime Census District Committee, from October 31, 1961 to March 30, 1971, Deputy Member, and from April 9, 1971 to February 25, 1986, member of the Central Committee of the CPSU. From November 1963 to December 1965, head of the Party-State Party Control Committee of the CPSU, from December 1965 to September 1983, head of the CPSU Central Committee, then retired. 1958-1984 deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.
