Battle of Krasne (1450)


Battle of Krasnodar - an armed riot that took place on 6 September 1450 near Crasna (Rum), during the Polish intervention in Moldova. The Poles were led by four men: Przemysl, Halicki, Podolski and Sanocki. Allied with the Poles, Wolof was commanded by the Wallachian burgers. The Polish army was commanded by the Russian governor Piotr Odrowaz, Michał Buczacki, Nicholas Porawa and supported by the Moldavian and Wallachian leaders Alexander II. They suffered a hard-won victory over the Moldavians led by Hospodar Bogdan II. After a fierce battle in the last phase of the battle, the army led by the survivor of the Wallachian burgravian battle tilted the balance to the allies.
