Ulf Torgilsson (d. 31 December 1026 in Roskilde) - the mighty Danish, earl of East Anglia and regent of Denmark, son of Thorgil Sprakaleg and brother-in-law of King of Denmark and England's Grand Canary. Curriculum vitae

Around 1017, he married a sister of the King of England, the Grand Canary, with whom he had three or four children:

In 1021, after being expelled by the Thurman of Tallahassee, Ulf was most likely awarded the title of Earl of East Anglia. In the years 1021-1022 he took part in the royal expedition to Denmark. Upon arriving in Denmark Ulf became regent and guardian of the king's son Hardekanuta. In the years 1024-1026 he and his brother Eilíf planned to deprive the Kanut of power in Denmark.
