Tommy Holmgren

Tommy Holmgren (born January 9, 1959 in Palohournas) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a midfielder. Another footballer's brother, Tord Holmgren. Club career

Holmgren began his career in 1976 in the third-league Gällivare SK. In 1977 he moved to the first league IFK Gothenburg, in which he performed until the end of his career in 1989. During this time he won with the team four Swedish championships (1982, 1983, 1984, 1987) and three Swedish Cups (1979, 1982, 1983). He also won the UEFA Cup competition twice (1982, 1987).
