Mikhail Afufuzo


Mikhail Ivanovich Alfafuzo (Russian: Михаил Иванович Алафузо, born 1891 in Mikolajov (Ukraine), shot on July 13, 1937)

The non-partisan, a graduate of the General Staff Academy, a staff captain, came from a Navy officer's family. He was the head of the operational board of the North-Kurdish Front (28 July - 30 August 1918), head of the 3rd Army (30 August 1918 - January 1919 and 2 May - 5 December 1920), member of the Armed Forces Organization Committee (January 1919 - April 1920) Chief of the Staff of the Kyiv Military District, 1921-1924 Chief of Staff of the Moscow OW, 1924-1927 Chief of Staff of the North Caucasus OW, 1927-1935 Chief of Staff of the Caucasian Army, decorated with the Order of the Red Banner, 1935-1937 Chief the cathedral organization and mobilization of the Military Academy of the General Staff. Awarded the Red Banner (1928), Red Flag of the ESRR (1932).

Arrested April 15, 1937. Sentenced on July 13, 1937 by the Military College of the Supreme Court for espionage, piracy and participation in a counter-revolutionary terrorist organization, was shot on the same day.
