Hryhorij Hryńko


Hryhorij Hryńko Grigorij Fyodorovich Grinko, born 18 November 1890 in the village of Sztepiwka in the Kharkiv province, died March 15, 1938 at the place of execution of the Kommunarka) - Ukrainian Communist, Commissar folk finance of the USSR (1930-1937). Ukraine, from 1906 to 1912, member of the SS party, from 1909 to 1913 he studied at the Faculty of History and Philology of the Moscow University (he did not graduate) and Kharkov University (he did not graduate), in 1913-1917 served in the Russian army, then was a teacher in Kharkiv. 1918-1920 activist of the Socialist-Revolutionary Party-Borotbist Party (one of the organizers of this party), since July 1919 a member of the People's Commissar of the Ukrainian Academy of Education, from 1919-1920 member of the All-Ukrainian Revolutionary Military Committee, since 1920 a member of the RKP (b), from February 1920 to November 1922 the People's Commissar of Education of the SRR, from November 1922 to November 1923 the chairman of the State Planning Commission of the People's Commissars of the Ukrainian SSR. From November 1923 to June 1925, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Kyiv Gubernian Council, from May 16, 1924 to November 20, 1927, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (b) U, from June 1925 to December 1926 again chairman of the National Planning Commission of the People's Commissars of the Ukrainian SSR, Council of People's Commissars of the Ukrainian SSR. From December 1926 to November 1929, member of the Bureau of State Planning Commission of the People's Commissar of the USSR, from 1928 to November 1929 his deputy chairman, from December 1929 to October 18, 1930 deputy national agricultural commissioner of the USSR, from October 18, 1930 to August 16, 1937. Member of the Finances of the USSR, from February 10, 1934 to October 12, 1937, deputy member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (bK).

In the period of "great purge" August 30, 1937 arrested by the NKVD. In March 1938, in charge of the Moscow State show in front of the Military College of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (alongside Nikolai Bucharin and Alexei Rykov). March 13, 1938 sentenced to death for involvement in a counter-revolutionary terrorist organization. March 15, 1938, shot dead at an execution site of Kommunarka near Moscow, buried anonymously.
