Batting Guitar
Chitarra Battente - guitar by Giorgio Sellas. It dates from the 17th century.
The instrument has metal strings that produce a louder sound. Five pairs of strings are supported by the strings, which are attached to the bottom of the box. It was equipped with metal vacuums, and the cube was usually used for playing. This particular copy has a neck decorated with mother of pearl and is decorated with ivory inlay. It has a convex back made of ebony slats with inlaid ornament. Bibliography
