Stanisław Pachołowiecki
Stanisław Pachołowiecki (2nd half of 16th century) - cartographer. Under the orders of King Stefan Batory he participated in the Moscow campaigns (1579-1581). The strength shown in Pskov (1581) was ennobled.
During the war with Moscow he made a number of cartographic works, of which only the map of the Duchy of Polocki from July 1579 has been preserved, and the plan of the Polotsk siege was recognized in 1580, considered the first work of Polish military cartography.
