Robert V. Geasey Trophy - is an award given annually from the 1955/56 season to the best academic basketball player in the Philadelphia Big 5, an informal academic sports program in Philadelphia, PA. This is not an MVP award and does not represent the best player of the main season. It gets her the best player of the direct matches of the Big 5 teams during the regular season. It is sponsored by Herb Good Basketball Club. The members of the informal Philadelphia Big 5 Association are: La Salle University, University of Pennsylvania, Saint Joseph's University, Temple University, Villanova University.
