Jeremi Maria Franciszek Wasiutyński (born 6 October 1907 in Warsaw, died 8 April 2005 in Oslo) is a Polish philosopher and astrophysicist who has been active in Norway since 1937.
He was the son of Alexander (railway engineer, professor of Lviv and Warsaw Polytechnic) and Klotyldy of Romocki, brother of Zbigniew (engineer of bridges). He studied astronomy, mathematics, physics, chemistry, philosophy and psychology at the University of Warsaw (1925-1932). In 1937 he went to Norway with the intention of obtaining a doctorate; The Second World War delayed the defense of the work of hydrodynamics and the structure of stars and planets until 1948. He stayed in Norway permanently without accepting work proposals in Cracow and Warsaw. He published articles and essays in the Norwegian and Finnish press. In 1965 he received a permanent scholarship from the Norwegian government, and in 1976 he was awarded a scholarship.
