Freezing of prices and wages
Price and wage freeze - a tool used to stop inflationary processes by introducing a periodic ban on price increases and wages by the state. It is not an effective tool because it struggles with the symptoms, not the causes of inflation. Normally, after the freezing period, prices and wages can grow even faster.
In the economy there is also a phenomenon of freezing wages (without freezing the prices). It can be a result of a business-to-employee agreement that aims to stop rising costs of production and keep the business going. Bibliography
