Tomasz Szepietowski
Tomasz Szepietowski (born September 17, 1933 in Vilnius, died on March 20, 2017) - Polish doctor, surgeon, internist, nephrologist, professor of medical science, specialist in internal medicine, nephrology and transplantology. Biography
During World War II, in June 1941, he was deported with his twin brother and mother to the Siberian Altai Krai. He returned to Poland in 1946. In 1964 he made the first in-vitro dialysis. He founded the first Quinton-Scribner fistula. He obtained many scientific promotions, including the postdoctoral degree and the title of professor (1989). At the Medical Academy in Wroclaw he was the dean and deputy dean at the Faculty of Medicine. He died on March 20, 2017. Honors
