Republican Christian Party (Ukrainian: Республіканська християнська партія, RChP) - Ukrainian right-wing and Christian Democratic party. History

The party was formed at the congress on May 1, 1997, then registered on July 24 of the same year. As a result of the split in the Ukrainian Republican Party Lukka Lukjanenko. They founded it. Mykola Porowski (who led the RChP) and former political prisoners including the Bohdan brothers and Mykhrylo Horyń.

The Republican Christian Party started independently in the 1998 election, gaining 0.54% of the vote and not introducing its representatives to the Verkhovna Rada. In 1999, the party supported the re-election of Łeonida Kuchma, then cooperated with Wiktor Yushchenko, contributing to the 2001 block Our Ukraine. During the fourth term of parliament the parliament was periodically represented by a parliamentary delegation (in 2005 the mandate was exercised by its leader). Since 2006 it has functioned as an extra-parliamentary group.
