Gianfranco "Franco" Tacchino (born November 4, 1961 in Trecate) is an Italian racing driver. Career

Tacchino started his career in international car racing in 1981 with the start of the Italian Formula One. He finished fourth in 23 overall. In subsequent years, he also appeared in Formula 3, Italian Formula 3, Monaco Formula 3, Formula 3, European Formula 3, and World Sports-Prototype Championship.

In the Italian Formula 3000 he competed in two races of the 1986 season with the Italian team Sanremo Racing. But never scored. He was ranked 44th in the final drivers' classification. Bibliography
