Benny Lai


Benny Lai (born April 27, 1925 in Rome, December 12, 2013) is an Italian writer and Catholic journalist.

He started his career as a journalist in 1946. The Vatican was on June 2, 1952. He collaborated with many Italian newspapers: Gazzetta del Popolo, La Nazione, Il Resto del Carlino and Il Giornale. He wrote many interesting books, including the Vatican's finances, several popes of the twentieth century, the conclave of the twentieth century, and the "canonical pope" - cardinal. Giuseppe Sirim, of whom he was a friend. In 2006, he published a journal from 1953-1978, ending with the election of Pope Charles Wojtyla. Books Bibliography
