Witold Abańkin (Russian) Витольд Андреевич Абанькин (born 1946) - social activist, dissident.

Admiral Admiral Abańkina. In the years 1965-1966 he served in the GDR. In 1966 he was arrested on charges of treason of his homeland with the intention of moving to Germany; Until 1978 he was in custody. He was a participant in the fight for the rights of political prisoners. A friend of the poet and defender of the rights of Yuri Gałanskowa.
