Tadeusz Wróbel (pedagogue)


Tadeusz Wróbel (born November 20, 1910 in Paczółtowice, died April 17, 1987 in Warsaw) is a Polish pedagogue, specialist in initial teaching and comparative pedagogy.

In 1937 he graduated from the Jagiellonian University of Pedagogy and then worked as a teacher in September 1939. In the September campaign he was a lieutenant in the "Kraków" Army; For the rest of World War II he was imprisoned in the POW camp, where he organized teacher circles. In 1945 he became involved in teaching Polish expatriates residing in Germany and then returned to Poland and settled in Warsaw. From 1953 he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Pedagogy. In 1974 he went to the Institute of School Programs at the Ministry of Education and Training, where he was awarded the title of professor a year later.
