Barbican (journal)


Barbican of Warsaw, Barbican - magazine of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society published in Warsaw.

In the years 1969-1989 it appeared under the title "Barbican of Warsaw." It came out with various subtitles, initially as a training and information bulletin, then as a bulletin of the Provincial Voivodship Board of PTTK and a bulletin of the Warsaw Branch of PTTK. Since 1989, a bi-monthly tourism and sightseeing.

In 1990 it changed its title to "Barbakan", with the subtitle: Mazowsze quarterly tourism and touring quarterly, published in subsequent years by: the Capital Regional Board of PTTK, Mazowiecki PTTK Program Center and Warsaw-Śródmieście Branch. It went to 2010, in recent years as a half-year.
