Herb Bad Orb
The coat of Bad Orb is in the blue box sitting on a white horse, the figure of Saint Martin in golden armor with his right hand crossing his red coat. The horse with the raised left leg in the heraldic right, St. Martin turns to the left. On the horse in a reclining position on the ground, turned to the left, half-naked beggar with outstretched left hand. The head of the saint surrounds the golden nymph.
The figure of the saint refers to the patron of the city and to the local church. Saint Martin was already on the oldest city seal, dating back to the 14th century. Bibliography
