From November 1919 to March 1920 he commanded the 5th Army of the Eastern Front, defeating the Admiral Army. From March 1920 to April 1921 he was the commander-in-chief of the People's Revolutionary Army of the Far East, 1921-1922 commander of the Minsk Front Front (fighting against Bulak-Bałachowicz's troops), and 1922-1923 commander of the Fergana Army Group Of the Turks, 1923 was demobilized. He worked in leadership positions in the Supreme Economic Council and later in the People's Commissar of Foreign Trade of the USSR. He was decorated with the Order of Lenin and two Red Banner Commands.
