Mikhail Korolov


Mikhail Antonovich Korolov (Russian: Михаил Антонович Королёв, born 12 September 1931 in Almaty) is a Soviet politician. Curriculum vitae

Born in a Russian family. In the years 1949-1954 he studied at the Moscow Institute of National Economy. Plechanov, later an assistant, and since 1959 a docent, senior researcher and head of the cathedral. Since 1960 he has been a Rector of the Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics, 1966 he became doctor of economics and 1967 professor. Since 1971 deputy chief, since 1975 I deputy chief, and from December 1985 to August 1987 head of the Central Statistical Office of the USSR, from August 1987 to July 1989 chairman of the State Committee of the USSR for statistics, then retired. From December 1989 to January 1991, consultant of the General Department of the CPSU Central Committee, from January to August 1991 adviser to the USSR President Walentin Pavlov, from March 6, 1986 to July 2, 1990 deputy member of the Central Committee of the CPSU, since February 1992 chairman of the CIS Single Statistics Committee. Member of the 11th Congress of the USSR. Awarded with the Order of the Red Labor Banner and the Order of the Friendship of the Nations. Bibliography
