Jan Deskur
Jan Deskur (born 1922) - Polish construction engineer. Curriculum vitae
A graduate of the Building Department of the Engineering School in Poznań (1949). From 1948 he worked in the Building Management No. 4 in Poznań. From 1950 he managed the construction of the Maltańskie lake in Poznań, and then the power plant on Garbarach. In the years 1957-1963 he was the chief engineer of the Poznań Construction Company No. 2 (from 1967 he was its director). In 1965 he graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Poznań University of Technology. He was a co-organizer of the estates in Poznań: Świerczewskiego, Grunwald and Rataje (the latter was preparing for implementation in the initial phase). From 1968, he held the position of the head of the Faculty of Technology at the Poznań Unification of Construction. He received a team award for the design and implementation of the Winogrady Residential Complex in Poznań (1971). He participated in the construction of the new wing of the Raczyński Library.
