Carlo Cafiero


Carlo Cafiero (born September 1, 1846 in Barletta, died on June 17, 1892 in Nocera Inferiore) - an Italian revolutionary activist and lawyer. Curriculum vitae Initially, he organized the socialist movement in Italy, in 1871 he co-wrote the socialist journal Campana in Naples, he was active in the International Workers' Association (I International). In 1871 he was arrested, after the release of an anarchist party together with E. Malatesta and F. Marlino, and in 1873 he began cooperation with M. Bakunin. From 1877, he was active in Benevent, directing conspiracy organizations with the aim of overthrowing the existing social order, and at the same time he transferred his property for revolutionary purposes. In 1874 he participated in social unrest in Imola, and in 1877 in the Benevent uprising, he later approached Marxism.
