Aleksandr Papkin
Aleksandr Wasiljewicz Papkin (Russian: Александр Васильевич Папкин, born 2 January 1936, died August 8, 2007 in Moscow) - Soviet and Russian diplomat. Curriculum vitae
In 1959 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, and in 1983 he was trained in the management of diplomatic staff at the USSR Diplomatic Academy. From 1959-1987 he was a counselor of the Embassy of the USSR in Romania, Guinea and Madagascar, from 3 September 1987 to 1991 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR in Senegal and simultaneously in Gambia, and 1995-1999 Russian Ambassador to Moldova. He was awarded the Order of Friendship of the Nations and many medals of the USSR and Russia. Bibliography
