Tibor Szanyi


Tibor Szanyi (born July 13, 1956 in Budapest) is a Hungarian politician and economist, longtime national MP, former deputy minister of agriculture and economy, Member of the European Parliament for the eighth term. Curriculum vitae

In 1980 he completed his studies in foreign trade at the. Charles Marx in Budapest. In 1988 he received his doctorate in economics from the same university. In the 80s he worked, among others. in the Hungarian delegation to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. In the 1990s, he was employed first in an agricultural company, then in an economic organization. the secretary of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce.

In 1998 he joined the post-communist Hungarian Socialist Party. In 1998 he was first elected to the National Assembly, again elected in 2002, 2006 and 2010. In 2002-2004 he was deputy minister of agriculture, then until 2006 he was deputy minister of economy. In 2010 he entered the board of the national socialist party. As a result of the European elections in 2014, he was a MEP of the 8th EP term. Bibliography
